Blueberries!
In many areas it is blueberry season! In encourage you to get out and pick some local berries if you can. Articles surface this time of year about how blueberries are full of antioxidants. If you continue to eat the standard American diet, you will be disappointed if you just add some berries to it. To see their full benefit, incorporate them into a whole food plant-based eating pattern. Enjoy!

Food on Friday
Rhubarb……Do you know rhubarb is really a vegetable? It's stalks are tart so it pairs well with sweets, such as apples, blackberries, honey, raspberries, vanilla, and strawberries. Choose firm red stalks. It's season is spring through mid Summer although it's growth slows. Just don't eat the leaves because they have a potentially toxic chemical in them. Enjoy!
