In today’s world people want quick fixes and this holds true for health improvements. For true health there isn’t a quick fix, it’s a lifestyle change. I saw this quote from James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, and think it reflects my approach to wellness.
"New goals don't deliver new results. New lifestyles do. And a lifestyle is a process, not an outcome. For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results."

I made a salad for a potluck this week totally plant-based. It’s a take on coleslaw and came from Forks Over Knives. The ingredients include shredded cabbage and carrots, quinoa, dried cranberries, green onion, and an oil free dressing made with tofu, vinegar and spices. Tastes different than traditional coleslaw but was good!
